Introduction: Hi! My name is Rachael Hurd. I'm a seamstress/costume designer, born and raised in beautiful San Francisco. I have been sewing for just under 20 years. My background is in making costumes, and the beauty in that is I have a wide range of garments I can make. Evening gowns, swimwear, lingerie, leather work, neoprene, sequins, headdresses-- I've worked with a multitude of materials to make a variety of different types of garments. I also attended Apparel Arts for patternmaking so whether you are looking for a custom made piece or already have a piece that needs a little love, I will give you professional results!
Being a person who has seen for most of her life, I love creating things and working with my hands!

Rachael is an amazing designer, seamstress, and artist. She has helped me through the conception and design process to figure out what it was I was looking for and has created multiple pieces/costumes for me for various events (Burning man, Symbiosis, Sunset, Halloween, etc...). In addition, she has helped me alter bodysuits and other pieces in the past to better fit my style and body type. I have always been happy with the work she produces and DEFINITELY plan to utilize Rachael's services in the future for other projects and costume pieces!
