Nerdshark Software's reply
We pride ourselves in making every customer happy! Unfortunately, Harisen had unrealistic expectations with the work he was requesting. Despite numerous attempts to resolve a misunderstanding, he decided to go in a different direction. Needless to say, we provided Harisen all work materials that he purchased as part of this project, including the domain name that we procured on his behalf and custom source code that we engineered. We wish Harisen the best of luck!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We usually charge $100/hr as a base rate. Depending on the scale of the project that number can fluctuate depending on the project (i.e. how many engineers do we need to use at one time...). This includes any source code and a minimum of 1 month follow on support unless we agree on a different support plan.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I recommend an initial telephone/web conference consultation. This allows us to fully understand the scope of your project. Once the scope is defined, we can give an accurate quote. For larger, longer-term projects, we like to conduct a weekly status update to let you know what progress has been made over the previous week, identify any changes you may have made, and discuss any challenges and road-blocks that are upcoming. Once the project is complete, we'll turn over the source code (after all, you paid for it!). Depending on the nature of the project, we also provide some follow-on support as part of our pricing.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Computer Science Degree from Carnegie Mellon University Masters of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University Professional Certificate in Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan Certified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Engineer from the Department of Energy
