BloomWest was AMAZING! My wife and I loved every single flower that was part of our wedding. Personally, I was a little skeptical since we didn't see the flowers physically; being it a wedding, we wanted everything to be PERFECT and the moment I walked in on the day of..I was speechless. The flowers were beautiful. From the reception to the ceremony site, everything was great. Shayna and I clicked pretty early on - while I was worried that a) I didn't know what I want and b) what I want, was out of budget, Shayna was able to really deliver on all fronts. Despite having not met Shayna face to face until the day of the wedding, Shayna helped me create a beautiful ceremony with a blossoming arch, cocktail hour and reception flowers. People had an amazing time, and it felt plentiful in terms of volumes of flowers. Shayna also nailed the color scheme, when I wasn't even sure what I wanted. I can't thank Shayna enough for allowing us to have such a beautiful day, and setting up everything / taking everything down without completely breaking our bank. BloomWest provided the flowers for our fiesta themed, co-ed baby shower and it all looked great! Shayna was super responsive at first inquiry and sent along several ideas to get my opinion which I appreciated. With the ranch setting in mind, she was creative in incorporating different types of plants (cactus, succulents, accent flowers that pop) and the variety of arrangements really livened up the tables, cocktail barrels and bar. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$2,800 - $10,000 depending on size of wedding and types of arrangements/decor. I do not charge for delivery within 50 miles of San Francisco. I also not charge a service/set up fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first like to get as many details about your wedding as possible - guests count, size of bridal party, style of bridal gown/bridesmaids dresses, time of year, venue, etc. From there I work with my couples to find designs that they like so I can put together some mock ups. After that I will see you at the wedding with the final product!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an extensive background in art and design with a degree in Product Design from Syracuse University. I have also completed the Design Start Comprehensive class with Michael Gaffney
