I had a small job that I didn't know was small. I'm grateful that he drove all the way over to take care of it. I had a ceiling fan with lights that would turn on the fan, but not the light. It turned out to be bad wiring that he fixed very quickly. Then he offered to take a look at any other problems I needed to fix. I was wondering about adding another ceiling light to another room. After checking out the area by going through the attic, he found that we'd need to add an entirely new electrical line. He also mentioned another option of running a new fixture from an existing power outlet via a plugin lamp. That one would have the cord run alongside the wall and up to the ceiling. Our family is still debating whether to do that because it would save us money, but the cord would still be visible. Anyway, I was glad that he told us all of the options. Also, communication before meeting was very prompt and easy. When entering the house, he noticed that we kept our shoes off, so he did the same. Finally, he made sure to clean up after himself too. Those were very subtle but impressive manners. I'd definitely hire him again if I ever need help.

Just had my Christmas lights put up outside. They look great. I tried 2 people that were recommended by neighbors, but one was booked until mid Dec., and I never heard back from the other one. I went on Thumbtack and got a quick quote from David. Hired him Wed. He came out on Sat. It started sprinkling rain, but he kept working. Very pleasant, detailed minded, and reasonably priced. He said he does a variety of home repairs. Will definitely hire him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on my success with every project that I take on. If I feel that I have taken to much time I reward the customer by not charging for my time spent on research. I don't charge for a service call or a phone call that sometimes can fix a problem.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone conversation ( discussing project ) And showing up on appointment time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for a restaurant four years and still employed being a facility manager. I fix most of there problems or projects. I was hired to delicate the work to other technicians but usually end up solving the problem and completing it myself. I also work with a couple of property management companies doing home repairs. Call and maybe I can help you without a service call.
