Valerie was our in-house tax manager for a very dynamic Bay Area real estate investment and development company - and then the great depression hit - knocking the wind out of all our deals.
Prior to the crash, Valerie kept a handle with the CFO and CEO of major transactions and their tax implications - and the crafting of our filing positions were unique, to say the least. She was a major player in interpreting and implementing the Code.
After the crash, she guided me out of a very tangled morass of stock positions in that company and directed my workout solutions. Life is more calm now, and Valerie loyally continues her masterful work of my (more simple) annual returns.
