FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to come out to the home or business to take measurements and verify square footage, this will allow us to give an accurate labor price. While verifying the square footage we explain the labor process and what is included. We also discuss material options, quartz, granite or marble. Most projects require full slabs, which is why we like to personally take our customers to slab yards and pick out the exact slab that will be installed in their home. Sometimes going to a slab yard can be intimidating so we accompany our clients so we can answer questions and verify that the product is not damaged or defected. In short, we try to make the process as easy as possible start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are family owned and operated. We have been in the countertop industry for over 25 years and are very knowledgeable in regards to products, fabrication, and installation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started out in the commercial business doing hotels coast to coast. We still run our commercial company which does approximately 50 hotels a year. I-Stone is our residential side of countertops. Before I-Stone we received numerous requests to do homes and businesses so we expanded from just commercial to residential.
