On the strength of many positive reviews, I reached out to Atty Douglas Borthwick. I’ve had good experience from businesses that have received consistently good reviews in the past. I was right about Atty Borthwick. Doug is an independently operating attorney who regularly handles various-sized cases – meaning Doug did not pass my case on to an inexperienced attorney; and he is not with a giant law firm, many who do not know much about small or medium-sized cases enough to keep costs down. That’s been my experience. Doug has treated me decently and promptly returned all my many phone calls and emails that went to him at all hours of the day, weekends, and holidays. These are all important traits – but only a part of the picture. Doug has consistently provided clear, concise answers to resolve my legal issues. Prior to meeting Doug, I had given a relatively low chance of succeeding. Doug has turned my case around; he gets results. I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney.
