FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many of my clients value professional photography highly and are interested in creating heirloom artwork of loved ones for their home. Instead of posting a list of prices like you would find at McDonalds. I want to help you create beautiful portraits that you will be proud to hang in your home. I will walk you through the entire process and develop exactly what you and your family are looking for. Even if I am out of your budget, you will learn a lot about the process to help you find the perfect photographer for you. Hit up the contact page or book a free consultation to get started, you will be pleasantly surprised.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You will find that I create a different kind of photography experience for my clients. A lot of times people come to me that have either gone to the mall or other chain photographer. As a result, they are not quite know what to expect. Most are surprised how relaxed and comfortable they feel. Furthermore, you will never be rushed or hurried to get through a session. As a result, I create an experience for for you while at the same time creating heirloom artwork. Artwork you will love and cherish for decades to come. I want you and your family to enjoy the entire process, from start to finish.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a deep love for photography, starting with a Pentax 35mm film camera my mother bought at a garage sale when I was around six years old. I took it everywhere with me, a habit I still retain to this day. When I was 16 I approached a local photographer, Don Barnes, that I admired and asked if he was in need of an assistant. Unfortunately, times were a bit tight as the world of photography were changing to the digital world; he could not afford an assistant. However, my love for photography was not restricted to making a profit. I offered to work for free, so long as I could learn more about my passion. I followed him to any and every shoot I could, always curious about why he did what. He took me to photography guilds and TPPA (Texas Professional Photographers Association) meetings so I could soak up as much information as I could. This experience solidified my love for photography.
