Ryan did an amazing job as our officiant. He met with us and we gave him an idea of what we envisioned, and he filled in all the details and came up with a perfect ceremony for us. We knew we didn't want a traditional boilerplate ceremony, we wanted something that was "us" and would be special and memorable, and Ryan got this perfectly. He did a lot of research to find the right readings/poems/etc and really worked with us to find exactly the right things to say. He didn't just pick some sayings from a book of common ceremonies, it was truly a custom, personal ceremony, and we couldn't have dreamt of anything better. His style is very Santa Cruz, laid back and comfortable, but still very respectful and special. He's also not an internet certified "minister" and is the real deal with the backing of a real church (but is absolutely not preachy, judgemental, or a traditional church figure either.) We can't thank Ryan enough for giving us the ceremony of our dreams!
