Introduction: John O'Hare called me to inspect a roof for an older couple selling there home, there was a small leak. I inspected the roof and determined there was hail damage and advised the couple to file an insurance claim. The claim was filed and I met the insurance adjuster at the home. While in the driveway in told me that he could not approve the roof and denied the roof claim. I contacted State Farm and requested a re-inspection. When the senior adjuster from State Farm arrived we discussed the situation, inspected the roof, and he approved full replacement.
I enjoy assisting home owners as well as commercial building owners with their roofing, siding, and gutter projects. St. Louis has experienced storms in the past few years that have damaged 80% of the roofs I inspect. Most people do not realize they have damage that is covered by insurance.
