Tom Ciane helped us through our first encounter with Hunter Douglas blinds, a job well done, we then moved onto a privacy shade for sliding glass doors! We called Tom and asked or his assistance in doing window treatments for our Formal Living Room, he helped us chose just the right shades after having formal drapes for years ! My experience with tom at east end blinds could not have been better. I bought a new house and needed blinds for every window. Tom made a huge job just so easy. His prices are amazing and his work ethic is unbelievable. Besides selling the best quality blinds with a huge selection , tom is just a great guy and a total pleasure to do business with. This was the first time I use Thumbtack for a job in the office. I did my research about roller blinds but the scope of the project was bigger than I feel comfortable doing by myself. Tom was extremely professional, knowledgeable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All depends on shade selected and dimensions . A 2 inch Wood blind could average $ 200 a window. And a motorized Duette Shade $ 650 a window.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting them helping choose the right window covering to fit their needs. Showing them how and where we will mount the new covering. Receiving a 50%deposit on selected items. Check or CC.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Full line Hunter Douglas Dealer. 15 years. Retired NYC police officer.
