Introduction: Reiki energy (Universal Life Force Energy) allows muscles to relax and increase blood flow to treated areas, which in turns promotes the healing process. The Reiki practitioner places his or her hands at pre-determined locations around the head and shoulders, the abdomen and on the legs and feet of a client. The tissue is not manipulated as the hands are simple held in place. A Reiki session feels like warm glow that surrounds the client with feelings of relaxation , stress reduction and peace to promote healing. Reiki is becoming extremely popular in the medical community . Over 800 hospitals across the U.S. are offering Reiki as a standard part of hospital care, including the Lehigh Valley Hospital Network. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher specializing in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. In addition to giving Reiki treatments, we also offering Reiki classes for those wishing to know how to give Reiki treatments. Reiki is very simple to learn, anyone can learn it. Once learned, you can give Reiki to yourself and others. Reiki will stay with you for the rest of life. Teacher training classes are also available.
