Introduction: Family Dialogue & Dispute Resolution is a service for people facing difficult conversations within complex relationships. Using facilitated meetings, mediation, and conflict coaching, I help families and divorcing couples maintain productive dialogue to reach smart decisions. The process saves time, money, and stress, and keeps the family or couple in control of the outcome. My service stands out because of my perspective as a lawyer, mediator, and therapist. After practicing law for four years, I enrolled in a masters of psychology program because I saw that applying legal strategy to what is often more of an emotional dilemma was ineffective and ridiculously expensive. Working from two frames of reference - law and psychology - gives me insight into a conflict that others might miss and enables me to reach the heart of the legal conflict by attending to the relational dynamics of the case, as well as the content of the conflict.
