- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer competitive pricing. But we also offer personal service. We take the time to answer our clients questions, teach them how to minimize their taxes, and help them grow their businesses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I We offer each of your new business clients on opportunity to understand the thirteen (13) different taxes that can apply to each and every business. We offer them a two to three hour personal training session, so that they understand the different taxes, what needs to be done to stay in compliance, and to help them determine who should be handling each and every one of the taxes. In addition we offer a mentorship program for our clients. Helping them to understand what they need to do to grow their business and how to handle the cash flow requirements of their business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Central Washington University in 1970 with a degree in business with a specialization in Accounting. After working with a national CPA firms for one year, I went to work for a regional CPA firm that worked in the area of Tax and Small Business accounting. I received my CPA certificate in 1972 and have worked with individuals and small business for over 48 years, helping them with their tax, payroll, and accounting needs. In 2011, in order to provide my clients with additional products and services, I converted my CPA firm to an H&R Block Franchise office. I have taught at a number of educational institutions. The last was Bellevue College where I taught QuickBooks. I current teach income tax to individuals that would like to enter the tax profession.
