FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very up front when I provide my estimates. The scope of work is printed and signed. I also encourage participation of my clients if they are interested in being a part of the construction process( subject to safety considerations) as well which, in turn can reduce the cost to them while fostering a sense of learning and accomplishment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find it essential to listen to my clients needs and try to capture each detail as it is presented to me. I then offer suggestions while also thoroughly examining details that perhaps, might have been overlooked and recommend a detailed plan of process for their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am college educated and actually worked in the field that I went to school for ( mech. engineering).. While employed within that discipline I also worked in the construction trades as much as I could... My engineering career lasted only 7 years as I became disenchanted with the lack of accountability and yearned for pride and ownership of a quality project completed and here I am! Still smiling and knowledgeable in home construction and remodeling.
