FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is custom and pertains to each clients' unique and specific needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon meeting a new client, my job is typically to relax them — people are often a bit strung out and nervous before a photo shoot! I make sure we have a good laugh before we get to shooting. It is of utmost importance my client feels extremely comfortable and unconditionally loved with me. In our initial 15 minutes together I can usually pick up on aspects of the client's personality that I would like to emphasize in the photos. This helps me to decide what kind of posing and backdrops are ideal for the unique individual. Once we get to shooting, it's playtime. The client is usually nervous but I lovingly coach them into "shaking it off" and dropping all tension. What results are beautiful candid and natural photos that capture the client's true ESSENCE. I am all about capturing the YOUness in YOU. We wander and explore and shoot in front of various backdrops. Outfits are changed, accessories added and removed. We explore a variety of possibilities. After the shoot is over (around 45-60 minutes later) ... I get to work on the sorting process. I select the top 10-30 images from the shoot and give them all one or two rounds of initial color correction and adjustments. These top images are published onto a private, password-protected gallery on my website, and a link is sent to my client so that they can view them all and select their top favorites. I then get to work using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CS6 to polish, style, and perfect the final images. My goal is to provide clients with one-of-a-kind portrait s that are visually and technically perfect and illuminate their unique character/persona.

I have attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for a B.F.A. in Fine Art Photography.
