- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the serving and the difficulty. I charge a rush fee for weddings with less than 1 month notice and all other events with less than 2 weeks. I do charge delivery above a certain distance. I do promotions on occasion, and all taxes are included in the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to get to know my clients and build a relationship. I like to get an understanding of the total picture, everything you want done from flavors to decorations. This is all done in person and the contract must be signed at that point to reserve your date. I get the deposit when the contract is signed and then develop a payment plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years of training with family, 2 years of internship and work experience in professional bakeries, and am getting a combination business and pastry degree.
