Trusting someone with my animals is a challenge, as noone can do it better than yourself, right? Well after numerous recommendations one name continued to show itself and I decided to meet Adele and come to my own conclusion. She was all that I had been told, professional, but like family, decades of experience not only in caring and watching over others animals, but so much experience with her own that I felt no matter what may happen, she would be prepared. Bottom line: my dogs and cats and bird love her, they actually look forward to her visits. She goes above and beyond in her every action and actually cares about them. From walking them, to feeding them, to medicating or driving them to the vet or groomer, she is prepared and is now a vital part of our family. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on how many pets you have and what distance I have to travel to get to your house. Typically one time with one pet in the area I service is $18-$20. It depends on how detailed it gets and where it is.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I book a free consultation with them at a time that is convenient for them in their home. I then come over and meet with them & their pets. I have a questionnaire covering all kinds of situations that they may or may not have thought of and a contract at the end. This usually covers from A-to-Z and there is room for questions at the end that we may not have addressed. Usually this takes a half an hour or more depending on how detailed you are. It is a one time service and can be added on to and tailored as the client needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for two veterinary groups for a total of three years doing every kind of thing from assisting the vets to assisting the clients. I have also taken a pet CPR course.
