FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I have some of them listed on my website. My standard service call fee is $75 and includes the first hour of diagnosis and repair. In most cases I can find the problem quickly and repair it right away. If not, I have upfront standardized pricing and will give you an estimate before I proceed
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing is to establish trust. I offer upfront pricing on the phone and free estimates in person so there are no hidden cost. I also immediately add them to my customer database and gather all their information up front. I schedule a visit in my digital calendar that is shared among employees so there is no chance of a missed appointment. I find that by doing these few things while I'm on the phone with the customer gives them confidence in my professionalism. One final thing, I never try to pressure or upsell my customers, in fact; In some cases I'll walk them through solving the problem without a visit or service charge. At the end of the day a happy customer is money in the bank!
