FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard One-on-one private training rate is $85/hour. That rate drops as low as $69/hour if packages of 6 or 12 sessions are bought at once. Two-on-one sessions are the best buy. Rates can go as low as $53/hour per person. We also have 30 minute sessions as low as $44/session and 20 minute skill sessions for $30.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Begin by calling us to schedule your one-on-one Enrollment Session with one of our certified CrossFit personal trainers. These are by appointment only, so be sure to call first before you drop by. In the ENROLLMENT SESSION you will: tell us about your goals and expectations, let us know if you have any injuries or issues, learn about our flexible membership options, tour our gym and check out all the equipment you won't find at typical gyms, get an overview of CrossFit and its approach to fitness, get in a fantastic workout tailored to your fitness level and experience. All in a no-pressure, non-sales-pushy, private setting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's not easy to become a coach at CrossFit Long Beach. It takes a lot more than a weekend Level-1 certification. We require an unwavering passion for helping people live healthier, happier lives. And an unrivaled amount of preparation. In fact, every CFLB coach completes an intensive 9-month Instructor Training Program (ITP) that covers a wide gamut of teaching CrossFit to athletes of all levels. The area's most in-depth and demanding training program, ITP allows our coaches to gain hands-on instruction under the close supervision of our most experienced coaches. Only when or coaches pass rigorous testing and demonstrate proficiency are they allowed to lead a CFLB class or provide personal training. We also insist that our coaches complete at least two CrossFit certifications - most of our coaches have more. CFLB coaches walk the walk. They bring a a minimum of two years as active CrossFitters - several of our coaches have been CrossFitting since 2005 - and have experienced first-hand its life-changing benefits. They also bring a diverse range of professional and personal experiences that allow them to connect with people from all walks of life. While we demand a lot from our coaches, we also recognize their value, reward their passion, and support them in their career and life goals. That's why our coaches have been with us for many years, and plan to stay and grow here for many more to come. They love what they do, who they do it for, and it shows. You won't find a more dedicated, qualified, and well-rounded team of trainers.
