Introduction: I am currently an English teacher in NW DC. Our entire curriculum is common-core aligned. We also give students several opportunities to practice standards in order to accomplish mastery. I co-teach in a general education classroom in order to give students with special needs the ability to learn in a natural environment.
I have a Masters degree in Education and a certificate in applied behavior analysis. I specialize in autism, ADHD, emotional, intellectual and physical disabilities. I was also a behavior therapist for 3 years.
I have tutored students throughout the country and abroad and have many success stories.
My favorite part of tutoring is watching the child grow! Many students need a one-on-one experience in order to master concepts that are challenging for them in a whole-group setting. I enjoy catering to each student's needs and giving them the tools that are needed to be successful in their academics.

I spoke with Danielle. She was scheduled to come start at 3:30 on Monday. She never showed. Never called or texted. Nothing. So disappointing and unprofessional. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, mature and professional, look elsewhere.
