Jay was very helpful and took his time to explain to me the strength/weaknesses of my case. Although it did turn out during our consult that i wouldnt be able to use him to represent me and it would have to be an attorney from a different state, he still took the time to walk me through the process and gave me some pointers for next step. I use both hourly and flat fee pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a free initial telephone consultation so the client can explain his/her issue and for the client to obtain a comfort level with me. Then, if the client wishes to move forward, I send a retainer letter to initiate representation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a law degree, masters in tax law, and many continuing legal education courses.
