- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct an introductory and exploratory phone call to ensure that I understand what the client wants and what purpose the work will serve. Understanding the client's goal is very important. Then I'll check back with the client throughout the process to ensure that the work is in alignment with their vision. After the work is complete, I make any remaining minor adjustments to ensure the client is completely satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have performed digital marketing for 8 years and have written and developed content for 15+ years. I also have 6+ years of design experience. My clients range from nonprofits to startups to small businesses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for nonprofits for many years and they often have limited funding making marketing and design a luxury. So in order to get this type of work done, we needed to perform these functions ourselves. As such, I learned quickly how to manage social media, build a digital campaign, design a WordPress website, create Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator designs, and so forth. Over time, I realized that I really enjoyed this type of work!
