Introduction: Hi there! I've been a photographer for several years, and my photos have been published in dozens of publications including Washingtonian, BuzzFeed, The Independent, A+ (Ashton Kutcher's viral news site), Upworthy, Daily Caller, the Daily Dot, any many, many more. I offer professional service at an affordable cost with a VERY quick edit & turnaround. I try to quote customers near the lower end of their budget and edit the photos from each session within 24 hours! My favorite thing about photography is capturing your special moments candidly then seeing the subjects' reactions when I show them the picture. It's really exciting to be part of so many special moments while meeting new people. Photography has always been a passion of mine and I got started as a sports & news reporter. Photographing college sports in Ohio was where I got my start, but after several years in DC I've pivoted toward more portraits and events. The wide variety of subjects and locations has really helped shape my shooting style.

Jordan photographed two separate ceremonies at the US Supreme Court for me. The venue has very low light, which has precluded nice pictures in the past. Jordan's pictures were very professionally done, lit up, and captured perfect special moments throughout the ceremony for the 200 guests, and with really thoughtful framing of each scene, so that the Court's gorgeous interior, marble work, and ceilings were also shown. He was super prompt about sending the photos dater wards, and he even made a gif of photos of the guests when their banners were flapping in the wind. Jordan is also delightful to work with, and I highly recommend him to help you capture your special moments on film.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to reply quickly to every request with a reasonable quote. Rates are always negotiable and I offer non-profit discounts!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Several years in journalism, photography and PR.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I learned to shoot when I was a young reporter covering college athletics. I then transitioned to news and new media (web) and started shooting music festivals on the side in addition to events, weddings and headshots.
