I have over 20 years of experience as a teacher and performer, and would love to talk and learn more about your musical goals, and how I can help you achieve them. As a teacher, I excel at identifying the specific skills that will help you improve the most quickly (practice smarter, not longer!), while keeping a strong focus on building foundational technique. Lessons are available in violin, viola, voice (songwriting / folk), music theory, recording, mixing and live sound techniques, for students of all ages and skill levels, and can be taught at the student's house within the D.C. metro area. Professional highlights include: *Recitals as visiting artists at Shepherd University, Duquesne University, Episcopal High School (DC) *Performing in touring orchestras with such notable artists as Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra *Guest lecturer in Music at UMBC and Goucher College
