Introduction: My name is Jeniffer and I am the owner and photographer at JTC Photography. I provide all of my clients with a gorgeous selection of high-definition photos for you and your family to cherish forever. Whether you’re looking for a full photography session or you simply want a few shots of your little one’s smile, explore the endless possibilities of working with me. I could not recommend Jen more highly and look forward to hiring her again and again. Jen was the most friendly of all photographers we met when looking for our wedding photographer. She met with us in person, which I appreciated, and came fully equipped with samples both digital and hard print, canvases, and boxes wrapped up with beautiful bows. Her work is so crisp and clean, but she is flexible in her style and really listened to what we wanted out of our photographer. Many others we spoke with only cared about adhering to the timeline of the day and never even asked my husband or I what we wanted out of our photos. The day-of she was calm and collected while still having fun with us. I'm a real cheeseball, as is my husband, and Jen got both phenomenal shots of us being our true, silly selves and the much more graceful, timeless image you would expect for a wedding. Our guests said she was a delight to interact with but also commented she was sneaky and subtle. If she had not spoken with them they said they probably would not have noticed she was even there. Her turn around time was what I would consider average based on everyone I have talked to, but she provided us with regular teaser photos along the way. 100% worth it! She has an eye for her work and clearly labors over the final result. When ordering our final canvas she was not satisfied with the end product as the company could not cut away some debris in the corners--I would not have noticed had she not pointed it out, and we accepted the final canvas as it was. I still don't notice. Jen is really a ten on a scale of five. My husband and I look at our photos every day and are so incredibly glad that we have found her. The dedication and love she has to her craft knows no bounds! We look forward to hiring her for as long as she's in business to document our blossoming life and growing family.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All packages are listed on my website. Occasionally I will offer special pricing and you can find those on my Facebook page. Events are not listed on my website because I take many things into consideration in order to provide the most fair price, but my starting rate is $250.00/hr.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to establish a relationship with my clients. Any kind of photo session should be fun! That's how you capture the true, raw emotions of the moment and the chemistry between people. I totally understand that for some people it's awkward to stand in front of a camera, believe me, I'm one of those! This is why I like building a relationship with my clients! Because I want you to feel comfortable around me and i want you to totally forget that i'm holding a camera and aiming it at you. I want your true self to be reflected in my work. I keep communication open with emails and text messages. I provide my clients with tips to make their photo session a success and I am ALWAYS available to answer questions. Depending on the package selected, the client will either meet with me when I'm finished editing the images, so that the client may select their favorites for printing or the images will be mailed on a USB drive to the client. If a package has been selected where I need to mail the images to the client, the client will receive an email with a tracking number.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started photography when I had my baby girl. I was living in Jersey City, NJ. Low income community and myself a low income single-mother. Every time that I would get on social media, I would see these beautiful images of newborns and I wanted to purchase a photo session for my daughter as well, but the reality of if was that I couldn't afford it. One day I just decided that I was going to learn how to do it and take those professional looking pictures of my daughter myself. I asked my mother for a small loan and purchased my first DSLR! :D I did a lot of research and with time, friends through Facebook started inquiring about my work. People that I grew up with wanted me to take pictures of them and their families. After that everything just happened to fast!
