What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing will vary by project but typically, I like to average 25/per hour minimum and up, depending on how complex the project is. *Data entry I can do for $20/hr as there is not much critical thinking involved.* There is flexibility in this and bulk pricing that I cap for longer projects - or per piece pricing for one-off, quick projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a phone conversation, email or IM exchange (whatever works for the client) to get the details of the project and discuss goals and any relevant background or due diligence that should be conducted prior to beginning the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Writing has been my passion since I learned how to write and I have a BA from Emerson College in Writing, Literature and Publishing. I have worked in LA as a screenplay reader at two studios and have 12+ years in marketing in heavy content roles. I've traveled to India several times to train offshore writers in writing for a western audience, grammar, SEO etc.
