- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For certain jobs, we will come to your residence to scope out the move. This includes jobs in which furniture must be removed through a window, larger items like hot tubs, or spiral staircases, or in any case a customer asks for a site visit to address concerns. Most jobs do not require a prior site visit. We come to meet you once hired
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started moving furniture for Jordan's Furniture as a driver's assistant. Making deliveries from Westerly, RI all the way to Vermont and through Boston, I learned quite a lot from what customers expect in handling furniture handling as well as timeliness. I expect the same high standards from my employees as new furniture customers expect.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically our customers are residential, but we have also set up business offices and assembled cubicle walls, as well as Executive offices/ desks.
