Introduction: I have taught piano/oboe/composition for many years in Greater Boston and had great experiences with all ages of students, 3-80 years old.
I create a curriculum for each student based on skill level and their interest. I always listen carefully during discussion and to their playing to ensure that I'm providing the best instruction for that particular student.
My teaching method can lead them to open up their freedom in music and teach the skills step by step for playing music joyfully.
When I teach music to students, I learn something from them also.
I appreciate every teaching opportunity because of it.

Sachiko is a wonderful teacher. As I have a keyboard, she traveled to my house to teach. She was very patient and understanding. I have a rather unique background with the piano, and have been rather 'unteachable' to other piano teachers. Sachiko was able to cater to my specific needs and work through what I was trying to accomplish. I am excited for her to be my piano teacher! I highly recommend!
