My husband and I called upon Bill to repair several wood windows in our 100 year old home. He also sanded and repaired our front door in addition to patching a portion of the hardwood flooring. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to work on a time and materials basis $38 being the hourly rate. My brother was using thumtack and told me about it as a way to be more independent.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting with the customer, looking at the project and discussing the best approach to completing the job the best most economical way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30 years experience in all aspects of carpentry.
