- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on if there is traveling involved and how far, which will be evaluated on a case by case basis in order to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Andrew does not believe that "one size fits all" and is happy to teach students who simply want to have fun, in addition to those who are pursuing music on a serious level as a career.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Andrew DiRuzza holds a Bachelor's degree in jazz performance (for guitar) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as well as a Master's degree in jazz studies from the University of Iowa. He has an original album entitled "Shapes and Analogies" under his name, available on iTunes. Mr. DiRuzza also has two years of teaching experience at the college level and is comfortable teaching guitar and electric bass. Lastly, he has also studied North Indian music at the Ali Akbar School in San Rafael, CA and plays sitar, which he would also be willing to teach.
