FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My job is to make the booking process as easy as possible. I find out what the customer is looking for, then discuss the best options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our artists are very active in the entertainer's scene. They all belong to Facebook forum groups filled with artists sharing ideas and posting their work. Our artists attend conventions that are designed to sharpen their skills and give them the tools to be successful. As head balloon artist, I've taught at Kapital Kidvention, Twist and Shout, Bling Bling Jam, and the Coney Island Jam. I've also been sponsored by Qualatex, the number one balloon company in the world.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I work as a school teacher and was looking for something to do on the side. My friend taught me some basic balloon animals and I immediately started making balloons at restaurants. I not only loved working and interacting with people at the restaurants, I loved the creative side of balloon art. I went online and bought $900 worth of balloon tutorials. I wanted to continually learn designs. Fast forward now 11 years later, I make my own balloon instructional videos and have an awesome entertainment company filled with talented artists.
