Although my husband and I were working 60+ hours per week our business was not making money. Geoffrey asked to see our books, reviewed how much overhead we had, costs for materials and how much time went into an individual job. After analyzing the information he concluded that we were not charging enough money for our services and products. He suggested that we double our prices (which were way too low!). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing system is a free 30-minute consultation to discuss the scope of the project. Once, we agree to work together, my fee is $500.00 for the first day and $50.00 an hour after that. Depending on the project, I can quote a flat fee as well.

Every project is different.
