Val is one of a kind. Don’t let his shed building skillset make you think that’s all he can do. My project was very custom. I needed 6x6 support beams for a 15x15 extension of my roof (structural – about 8k pounds) that spanned our back patio replaced because they were install below the grade full of rot AND were twisted/warped from not being correctly anchored at the top. (Beware of Lexington high end custom homes). And it had to be done before the 15k of concrete was poured for the new 850 SF patio slab. What a nightmare. The contractors who did bid it backed out because it was ‘a busy summer.’ Val bid it, sourced custom built top brackets that won’t warp the beams, dug out and poured massive footings and piers, and did heavy duty temp supports the entire time to make sure my roof didn’t rip off my house. In the end things couldn’t have turned out better for a $2,500 job that that big contractors didn’t have time for. If you ever want to watch someone do a 12 hour day of hard physical labor and get stuff done, hire Val. I saw him do two of those on my project plus a lot hours in-between. That’s all I can say and it is still not enough.

Val and his team showed up immediately and did a perfect job of removing a couple tons of dirt and concrete blocks. The price was very fair! His company also does construction jobs of all kinds so call him for a bid! I will continue to use this company.
