I tried to hire these guys, and spoke with them on the phone and via text 3 times. Russell said he would come do the service on 6/23. Didn't show up so I called back and he told me that he had been too busy to come out to my house. He PROMISED to put me on the schedule for first thing 6/30. When I didn't hear from anyone, I called again. Russell told me that he didn't remember promising anything and that he was too busy to come out to my location. No call, text, thumbtack message...nothing to let me know that I didn't make the cut for a second week in a row.
Can't live up to commitments, show up for appointments, communicate with customers,and then becomes snippy on the phone when I asked him to honor his commitment. I would NEVER recommend a business that treats customers that way.
Thumbtack should remove Generator Exchange's ability to respond to requests , especially if they are more than 10 miles from Spring, Texas

Customer was never promised a specific date as our schedule was full for service with a tropical storm brewing in the Gulf. We simply did not give a specific date or promise of a time or day. In fact, we recommended that eh try to find someone local to him for quicker service. We service and install generators all over the Gulf Coast, but we cannot give a specific date with a tropical storm warning mounting.
