- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a discount of 5% for customers who purchase packages of 10 sessions and 10% for those that purchase 20 sessions. Also, I offer a 5% discount to any client who's recommendation leads to another client booking 5 or more sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to have a conversation with a customer concerning their goals, any limitations/injuries, what exercises or exercise programs they like/hate, what has or hasn't worked in the past, and their level of availability. Once this is done, we set up an initial assessment workout, where we run through a few basic exercises and examine form, strength and endurance. Once this is done I will create a customized program for the client based on their capabilities, designed to help them achieve and maintain their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master's degree in exercise science (graduated with honors). My research has won several awards. I have been an author or co-author on several research projects that have been published and/or selected for presentation at ACSM's national conferences. I have been a trainer at the college level (DII), as well as for professional fire departments and police departments. I have been a martial arts instructor (capoeira) for 10 years.
