Lucas Walker answered my inquiry promptly, provided suggestions and established a plan to accomplish the project. He quoted a price which was fair, and suggested an in-person meeting at a local Panera Bread.
During our meeting Lucas was focused on the goals of our meeting and kept track of the objectives which I needed to accomplish. He made suggestions along the way to provide clarity and understanding for both of us.
After the objectives were met, he offered helpful suggestions to maximize the website in functionality and design. He suggested future projects which I could consider at a later time.
His profile indicated he guided clients through the process teaching them how to make changes and updates. I saw that first hand, as many times he would say "Let me show you what I did" or "Here is how you do that".
I had never used Thumbtack before. I was nervous about meeting someone I did not know, and trusting them with my computer, website and proprietary information. He set my mind at ease, and told me he had the same concerns.
I never met Lucas Walker before, but his expertise and demeanor quickly enabled me to trust him.
In the closing minutes of our time together, he suggested a few changes to increase our website's ranking in Google. Having read much on the subject, I was cautious. By the time I returned to my office, one of the images on our website was the first image in a Google search. WOW!
