- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $75 for a basic resume and will general include some tips for putting your best foot forward in an interview. For an additional fee I can include a cover letter. For most writing projects, I charge between $25 and $45 per hour depending upon the level of difficulty and the deadline for completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When completing a resume or other writing project, I generally ask for any documents that they are currently using as well as any notes they would like to include. I begin building a draft from there and then allow for feedback before completing the final. I will be requiring payment up front from this point on. Unfortunately, I recently had several individuals take advantage of my flexibility on this and ended up not receiving payment for a few of the jobs I completed. Payments must be made through PayPal or by mail using certified check or money order.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over fifteen years of Human Resources and Administrative Management experience including Recruiting, Hiring, Employee Relations, Staff Development, and Performance Improvement. Additionally, I'm a published author and an independent publisher. I have extensive experience in writing policies, procedures, handbooks, etc. I have a Master's Degree in Human Services-Health Care Administration and a Master's Degree in Religion-Discipleship Ministries as well as a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling.
