Introduction: I teach the fundamental concepts of math in many areas such as algebra, calculus and statistics that enable students to master these areas at the high school and college levels. Learning these concepts helps them better understand math and solve a variety of problems, both academic and practical. I have tutored many K-12 and college students. I enjoy showing students that math is not as difficult a subject as they think. Math is a type of language, and I help them speak this language. I derive much satisfaction when I help a student achieve confidence with this subject.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rates vary from $30-$50, depending on the required level of instruction. I am open to reducing my rates for highly motivated students (e.g., college bound) if need is an issue.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I spend 45 minutes free of charge discussing a student's needs and my teaching philosophy. I accept to tutor a student only if there is mutual comparability and agreement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences and my degree requirements included the study of higher mathematics (differential equations) and graduate level statistics. After graduation, I pursued an academic career (university faculty) where I taught and conducted research in areas which involved application of advanced mathematical theory and concepts.
