Introduction: Being at the right place at the right time is an aspect of videography and photography that I excel in. I also value the collaboration process that takes place between the client and myself. I take a picture but together we make it special. I love what I do, and I will be happy to capture the great moments you would like to cherish for years to come. I really do enjoy the atmosphere that surrounds family moments and special occasions which makes me a great videographer/photographer. I also love have autonomy in my job and this line of work provides me with a blank canvas and the ability to collaborate with my clients to create something together. Mau was the videographer at a wedding where I was a bridesmaid. Being a wedding planner by profession, I took more notice than most guests to his attention to detail, ability to be present but not noticed, and his great intake of the beautiful day. I would recommend Mauricio again to capture your wedding day!

We found Mau through thumbtack so we were a little fearful because we did know him and he was a recent college grad. My wife and I are both working professionals but we still wanted to find a great product at an affordable cost. After meeting with him over Skype and hearing his passion we knew he was the right fit to create a beautiful wedding video. He far exceeded our expectations in every way! The finished product has brought many family members to tears. Mau has a way of truly understanding you and your family and is able to capture powerful moments and then project that emotion onto the screen. He and his assistant were flys on the wall and even though they were ALWAYS filming, we never noticed them. Mau put countless hours into the preparation and into the creation of the final product. We are so lucky to have found him and we will remember the experience he gave us forever. Mau was truly a joy to work with and I would recommend him for anyone that's wants a world class product at a great price!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step in the process is to align our visions for this project. I want make sure that I understand their wants and concerns. From there it all falls into place, since every step we take will bring us closer to that final vision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My major subject was Videography and Music Production at the James Madison University. I have attended Production Assistant seminars in LA.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked for ESPN, The Daily Show and numerous of Political Campaign shoots. I have worked with local business such as Bridal Shops, Vineyards, and PBS affiliate networks.
