Before I got married, my husband & I had marital counseling with Rev Jarvis and it helped us a lot. Our communication wasn't where it needed to be, but once Rev Jarvis counseled us, our communication got so much better and understood one another on a deeper level. Since all three of us was in different areas, she counseled us over oovoo. She taught us how to communicate, budget, compromise, etc. She, also, brought us closer to God and showed how important it is to have God in the midst of our marriage. She would have us work on a certain area in our relationship until we met again with another counseling session. After we completed, we were ready for marriage. Rev Jarvis married my husband and I and I appreciate her and all she has done. My husband and I are going to continue to go to counseling with her to build our marriage up more. I highly recommend her to everyone.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rev. Dr. Donna Jarvis is licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association. She holds a Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary, Master of Divinity from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, Master of Science in Nursing from George Mason University, and is an Ordained Minister of the Gospel. She is a Certified Temperament Counselor. She is a member of the American Christian Counselors Association.
