Introduction: J.Leon Productions has been in the event and entertainment business for the past four years and offers both options of Latin and American Disc Jocking, the choice of music play are definitely major league! Our DJ has given various performances at events and occasions within the District of Columbia- Washington DC, as well as Maryland, Northern Virginia and areas within these areas, and can be compared with any global productions entity. From Reggeaton to the 80’s and beyond, onto the Dance/ EDM genres of music to top 40, Urban, 90’s, latin (Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata). What I love most about the service we provide is making our clients have fun at their events. The other thing we I love is working with the Lighting and Audio Technology.

Jorge is very professional,flexible, attentive and responsive. He responded quickly to messages and met with us before the event to share ideas and our playlist. Jorge tailored the playlist to our taste in music. He arrived early and set up the uplighting exactly as we had requested. Throughout the event he and his assistant checked in with me and executed the plan efficiently. When we had to make minor changes, he was flexible and followed my lead. He did a great job getting the crowd's attention and making announcements. It was a pleasure to work with him. Thanks to his work, everyone had a great time!

I was just married last weekend and having J.Leon Productions was a phenomenal. He was very professional, great listener and took into consideration the vision you had for our wedding without inserting so much of his own. He also added his expertise where I didn't know what to do and he went above and beyond to ease my anxiety for our special day. His selection is vast so if you have something in mind he probably has it. We also communicated the type of music we wanted by sharing playlists which helped him get a better idea of what I wanted. Everything was done so professionally and everyone complimented me on the music. We had a mix of top 40, Latin, hip hop, r&b, and some old school so we were super happy! He also provided us with the uplighting we needed to set the tone of the space, which saved us a lot of money! The value for everything you're getting is a steal! I would highly recommend him for your next event.

Jorge was awesome. He was in constant contact with me prior to the party and made a call a couple of days before the party to go over everything with me. He was on time and played music the whole time of the event. We had a glow party and everything was glowing with his black lights that he brought and his speakers were crisp and clear. You could hear every word of the songs. I will definitely be booking him for all my other events and have already had other adults at my party ask me for his contact information to book him for their events. Definitely a 5 star. Jorge and J.Leon Production is the person that you want to book your event with. No questions asked. VERY happy I went with him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard package for DJ service starts at $650 for DJ up to 4 hours and 100/hr for additional time. Below is a breakdown on what is provided for the Base DJ Service: -DJ for 4 hours -Wireless Microphone -Professional Grade Electro Voice PA system, this includes two 15" Powered Highs and one 18" subwoofer. -Access to our online forms to request songs and fill out our wedding planning form. Our business is built to work around any type of budget, so that is why we have customized addon's to allow our clients to fit what they want for their event. Below is a price list of extra addon's that we provide that works with the Base DJ service. -Uplighting Fixture - $25/per light fixture (recommended 16 for larger venues we would need to measure venue) -Dance Floor Lighting Tripod (includes 3 PARs and 1 Laser Strobe Light) - $150.00 -Gobo (Custom Name Display Light Fixture) - $175.00 -Extra DJ Hours - $100.00/hr -Ceremony Service - $200

It has been my passion since I was a young man. My fascination with music and lighting was always with me, but the business side has grown and matured over the years.
