- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever I start with a new customer, I like to get a feel for their usual food likes and dislikes and overall goal they are trying to reach. Then I offer suggestions based on my many years of experience and propensity for tasty and nutritionally sound food items. I believe food is medicine if done the correct way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Culinary School Graduate (Art Institute). Over 15 years professional history
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started running a small cafe/coffee shop while in college. It started off with store made salads and sandwiches. I started making everything from scratch and the people loved it. I went a step further and started making specials like spaghetti w/ fresh meatballs using only a hot-dog warmer. My customers said I should do food professionally, so I started switched majors started Culinary School in the fall. That was 16 years ago.
