Chef Ali catered a family event for us this past fall. We were thrilled with the experience. His dynamic flavors and ability to make a meal come together was impressive. We will certainly be using his services again!

I hired Ali in the Kitchen to cater my 40th birthday dinner for 20 people. He was very professional, cooked on location, greeted and checked in with my guests and also helped serve! He was able to handle my request for an Italian theme but also gave me a separate vegetarian menu for my some of my guests and it was amazing. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever I start with a new customer, I like to get a feel for their usual food likes and dislikes and overall goal they are trying to reach. Then I offer suggestions based on my many years of experience and propensity for tasty and nutritionally sound food items. I believe food is medicine if done the correct way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Culinary School Graduate (Art Institute). Over 15 years professional history
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started running a small cafe/coffee shop while in college. It started off with store made salads and sandwiches. I started making everything from scratch and the people loved it. I went a step further and started making specials like spaghetti w/ fresh meatballs using only a hot-dog warmer. My customers said I should do food professionally, so I started switched majors started Culinary School in the fall. That was 16 years ago.
