We assist people with private brunch/lunch/dinner and cocktail style functions at their choice of location whether it be your home, a private hall or a restaurant. You may have the perfect entertaining home and no idea how to successfully execute an event with ease. Let's face it, having a party is a lot of work. What should you have? How much should you have? When should things be served? It's the little details that can make or break an event. Leave those to a professional, so that you make your party a more memorable experience for your guests as well as yourself. We can execute your party from beginning to end providing menu ideas,linens, glasses, flowers, candles or simply help you along part of the way with planning. Pick up and drop off services for food. Delivered hot or cold. We have vast knowledge of many dietary restrictions. Please note although we can provide a gluten free menu with ease, please be advised we are not working in a certified gluten free kitchen. Event set up and breakdown available. Once you're event is booked we are happy to tour the space with you and offer suggestions for set up and flow. We work with an extensive list of professionals. If we don't have exactly what you are looking for. We definitely know who to call and where to get it! The success of your party is a reflection on us, we enjoy what we do and it shows!

To whom this may concern, I recently had the pleasure of having the assistance of "Julia's Having A Party" plan a special event for an member of my family. As we all know there are many different parts that come along with planning an event. "Julia's Having A party" made every aspect of planning simple and very easy. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, the recommendations of decorations could not have been more appropriate. Apart from that, The food was delicious. We had a variety of choices to pick from. All of which had the presentation of a fine dining Resturant. Lastly, As this event was in my home, I was skeptical of the idea of a "party planner" but pleasantly surprised. I got to spend time enjoying my guest worry free. Over all "Julia's Having A party" created not just a wonderful evening but a memorable experience.

I planned a party using Julia’s services.  Everything from start to finish was amazing.  They provided us with a variety of menu options including wonderful gluten free options for our guests with food allergies.  All of the staff were extremely professional, dedicated and committed to making sure our event went as smoothly as possible.  Our party included: extensive menu consultation via email and over the phone (at all hours of the day/night and over a holiday weekend!!), flatware, dishes and glasses for all courses.  Linens, sterno’s to keep everything warm, cold appetizers that were plated and ready to serve and VERY clear directions on how to heat/serve our menu.  This also included coffee and desert set up.  When we were done, we called and they came and took everything away!!  We couldn’t have been happier with our event and can’t wait to use Julia’s services again!!!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The initial conversation usually includes us getting a good base of what the customer is looking for. Date and time of event. Number of guests. Menu choices or ideas. Theme, if applicable. Budget for the event. Once we have this information it allows us to properly cost out menus and services for the guests.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    We employ multiple culinary/hospitality graduates and industry professionals that have many years in the business their knowledge is invaluable.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Most of us have a a good story. Some of them start with the following... "When I was growing up, my mother was the worst cook" "I've been around bars and restaurants my entire life because my father remodeled them, eventually the chefs/owners would give me something to do to keep me occupied" "I never liked any food until I learned how to make it... So I just started learning how to make everything" "I was lucky enough to go to a school that was very diverse. This exposed me to culinary experiences most children did not have. I think that is where my appreciation for food comes from"
