- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the job and what the client is looking for...more importantly their budget. Depending on the Budget I can determine what we will be able to accomplish and where to go from there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to meet my customers via phone or over coffee to get a feel for their personalities and what they are looking for and exactly what services they need. Once we have deterred the need for my services, I then will discuss budget. No one likes sticking to a budget, but you need to have one. I like to take a few days to collaborate and work up a few ideas for decor and design and go from there!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a background in event planning or event design. I have always been told I have a knack for it and started going odd jobs and favors for friends, family and friends of friends...as the decorating, advising and event planning became more and more in demand I decided to take it to another level!
