- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 per hour for 1 person jobs (up to 5 bedrooms or 3k sq ft), $35 an hour for 2 person jobs (over 5 br or 3000 sq ft), and $50 an hour for 3 person jobs (over 4K sq ft or 7+ br or 3500+ sq ft w/basement cleaning). I charge $5 per window for blinds/interior windows within reach, $20 for oven cleaning or cleaning out the inside of fridge (with guidance on what to toss!) and wiping it down, glossing hardwood floors by house size, room by room organization at $25 per hour, dry dust and wipe down baseboards with a damp sponge mop by house size, laundry (wash/dry/fold, put away) $15/load. I do charge a $25 per tub/shower scrub fee if I really have to scrub the bottom/sides of the tub/shower, and a $25 or $50 tidy up fee (depending on amount of picking up/size of house) if I have to tidy before I can clean, and extra if blinds/baseboards are really dirty, but this will be discussed before I start so no worries about being nailed in the end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I use either the app or text (whichever the client prefers) to inquire about types of flooring, shower doors, and get your address. I will then come to your house and ask you how you want me to clean your home. Your ritual is my ritual!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been keeping a house clean pretty much on my own for over 20 years, and taking care of animals since I could walk. I also worked for a vet for a year, so I'm comfortable around all types of animals and am allergic to none.
