Look no further, Toxic is your guy!
Having a DJ who can keep the crowd going is everything. Having a DJ that will play the songs that you request with perfect timing makes it the most personalized experience. Toxic delivered! Music is so important to us and when talking with Kris, he spent over an hour making sure our needs were met and genuinely has a passion for music. We became instant friends which made our day feel so easy and special. He is professional, cool, and keeps the party going. Worth every penny and the compliments from our guests were priceless.
Thanks Kris for helping us make the best day of our lives so special. I hope we cross paths again and will recommend you to everyone!

While this review is well over six months overdue, that in no way reflects the type of service that BTB provides! On the contrary, BTB was the BEST at providing us an incredibly fun experience for our June 2017 wedding in Galena, Illinois! From the moment that we inquired with Kristian, it was an easy and thorough planning process. He is funny, kind, and just wants you to have exactly what YOU want for your event. He listened carefully to our requests, and answered the many, many questions that we had. He also even put together a special recording for a special surprise dance that we had planned for our father-daughter dance - and it worked perfectly! The actual day of the reception was fun, organized, and again, he listened to anything that we asked for as the night went on. They also took their own photos, so it was wonderful to receive some wedding photos the day after the wedding while waiting for our official photographer photos! As for pricing, it was competitive, fair, and in fact more affordable than any of the other 4-5 DJs that we looked into. We could go on and on about how great Kristian and his team were to work with, but please don't look any further when needing a DJ for your special event!

We used Behind the Beats Productions for our wedding in July and had a great experience. Kristian was great to work with. He walked us through every detail leading up to the wedding. On our final call, he had thought through how to tackle the long reception room so that everyone would easily hear speeches and how to avoid microphone feedback from the wind during our outdoor ceremony (things we never would have thought of). I was completely confident that everything would be perfect. On our wedding day, Kristian not only DJ'd our wedding, but he also ensured that everyone stayed on schedule since we did not hire a professional wedding coordinator. Once the reception started, people were on the dance floor all night. A lot of our guests have reached out since the wedding specifically to tell us how much they loved the DJ. I would definitely recommend Kristian and Behind the Beats Productions for any event.

My husband and I had an incredible experience with Kristian. He was so professional, respectful, and fun. We were able to ask him many questions before hand and he was willing to meet with us in advance to get to know our style. On the day of the wedding prior to the ceremony he was very discreet with putting up sound equipment I wouldn't have known he was there except for the amazing sound system.
He met us outside the reception venue and got everyone organized before going over the schedule one last time and getting the party started.
We could not have asked for a better DJ--he also had an assistant (I think his name was Clinton) who was very professional and welcoming

Behind The Beats Production (BTBP) was essential to our wedding. We completely underestimated how much influence a DJ has on the wedding day. There is no other option other than BTBP. Our guests are still talking about how fantastic the wedding was and it was due to Christian's efforts. He worked with us every step of the way, and he made our wedding day better than we could have imagined. We were nervous about the diversity of our guests and their different tastes of music blending with our own, but Christian made a perfect mix of everyones favorites. All aspects of the wedding from the ceremony to the dinner & toasts went so smoothly due to his attention and care. Our wedding day would not nearly have been as magical and perfect without our amazing DJ. Thank you, Behind the Beats for making our wedding dreams come true!
