- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
YES! The average price is $2.00 a square foot for residential painting / $3.00 a square foot for commercial painting. For handyman work it's $200 a day plus materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st of all when I get a request for a bid for a potential new customer, since the work I do is quality work, I do my best to find out if they're interested in a quality job. The reason why I am a custom painter and a very meticulous handyman. I take pride in my work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a State Contractors License - C663092, which is renewable every 2 years, which I've had since 1992. I also have a Certification from the Learning Tree Decorative Painting. Prior to getting my Contractors License and my Certification I did an apprenticeship under Bill Conway Decorative & Faux Painting for 2 years. As a painter my customers would ask If I could do home improvement projects. I saw another way to fill my customers needs, and so I developed the skills to add the home improvement projects as a handyman. So in addition to my painting skills I've accumulated about 3 decades of handyman work.
