FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I charge a standard fee related to the duration of the lesson. Typically, students will buy a block of 4 lessons for me to hold a weekly time for them on my schedule. Four thirty minute lessons are $120, four 45 minute lessons are $160, and four 60 minute lessons are $200. I charge $5 less for the initial lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the initial lesson, the client and I go over policies for the studio (reserving times, cancellation policies, and make-up policies). I do an assessment of the students skill level and from there we outline our goals and expectations. By the end of the first lesson the student will be making sounds and leaving with an objective to practice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Bachelor's degree in Music from Radford University. I studied classical guitar, piano, and composition in college. I have performed solo at weddings and also in rock bands. I have also help organize and perform in 5 rock recitals in clubs in Austin, Texas.
