- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For bar tending/serving or catering events I typically charge $25-$30 an hour depending on travel distance. For wedding and special occasion cakes it varies on the ingredients/flavors and amount. I'll charge anywhere from $5-$10 per slice. Or $100-$700 per cake/pastries.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the job and the customer's preference. I'm usually always available for email and/or a quick phone call. I'm willing to meet in person and provide references and or photos of my work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associate in arts degree in hospitality management and culinary arts. Also 6 years experience as a professional pastry chef and line cook in restaurants in Seattle Washington, California, and New York. Prior to cooking/baking I worked in the front of house in many restaurants, serving, hosting, and bar tending/bar back.
